Skylanders Ring of Heroes is now available on Android and iPhone
Skylanders Ring of Heroes is a mobile role-playing game based on Activision’s well-known and much-loved gaming franchise Skylanders. The last we saw of this was Skylanders Imaginators back in 2016, but now the series is coming to your phone.
This hotly anticipated mobile RPG has been in the works for a while now. Back in June 2018, the game went into beta on Android allowing the developers (Com2us) to get in some testing on the platform before the official launch. At that time, it was free to download and it continues to be so now it’s officially launched too.
Download the game and you’ll be able to dive into the world of Skylanders as Portal Masters, the guardians of Skylands. You’ll be drawn into an adventure where your mission is to track down the villain Kaos and retrieve the stolen Book of Dark Magic.
Skylanders Ring of Heroes gives gamers the chance to get stuck into a ten-part story. You’ll be able to control your favourite characters that you can upgrade with enhanced skill combinations and more while smashing through dungeons or testing your skills against other players in PVP.
The vice president of Gamevil Com2us USA, Casey Lee said: „We’re really excited to see how Skylanders Ring of Heroes will perform in western markets, as the IP is already well-established there. We’ll certainly do our best to provide Skylanders Fans and mobile RPG fans with a fun RPG experience so that you can bring your favourite Skylanders Squad into your mobile device.”
Skylanders fans are sure to be happy with this one. Android Authority has gone as far as saying this is an essential title for fans of the series, so considering it’s free it’s well worth a download.
Skylanders Ring of Heroes is available now via Google Play Store and Apple iTunes.
